Let’s Go to the Hop! MPBC 2013 Father/Daughter Dance

FromAngela05Tonight the girls donned ruffle socks, high ponytails and poodle skirts, and Keith topped his white t-shirt and jeans with his letterman’s sweater and took his best two girls (after Mommy, of course) to the hop.

“Let’s Go to the Hop!” was the 1950s Sock Hop theme of this year’s Father/Daughter dance at church. Here are some more great pictures from the dance:

First, you have to let mom take at least ONE picture before you leave.

A Father/Daughter Dance is CLEARLY for daddies and their little girls…

…but it is also for friends!

Not to mention sisters.

And LOTS of dancing

A 50s party wouldn’t be complete without the Limbo…

…and a Hula Hoop contest (she did not win. That hoop went down faster than the camera could capture)

Kourey won the centerpiece – a LOT of candy! That box is full of 50s style candy, and the “Coke Float” is made of chocolate chips, a white loofah, and a red gumball. How clever and cute!
