Christmas is clearly our favorite holiday season, but we LOVE to break out fall decorations.
It’s hard to say why exactly, but I think a few key factors are: we have a lot; they can stay up for the whole fall (they’re mostly “fall”, not Halloween); they signal cooler weather, fun fall activities, and pumpkin-infused everything; we love the color palette of fall; and fresh/natural decorations seem to last longer.
Case in point, our new porch planters. I might not be able to grow a mum, but I can buy a mum and I can put it in a pumpkin (thanks for the idea, Pinterest!) This was a relatively inexpensive project, and pretty easy, too.
